This session was from back in October with the Patjens family. These frigid winter days have me missing shooting in the crisp fall nights. I’m ready to pick up my camera again on a warm spring night. Lately my heart has been full of gratitude. Gratitude for families that come back. Gratitude that I get capture precious moments that will come more valuable over time. Gratitude that I get to do this for a job.
Repeat clients are my favorite. It is the coolest thing as a family photographer to capture growth and change in a family. I had the honor of photographing Miss Emilia’s birth. And now here she is two and a half. And her brother’s were just little guys when she was born and now they are big kindergarteners. It’s a reminder to me as a parent at how quickly they move through childhood.
