Even in the dead of winter you can capture fabulous photos for you graduate, getting ready to finish up high school. Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood is a popular place for many different types of photo sessions.  Aaron and his mom and I had fun getting their last minute senior photos.2019-03-22_0003.jpg

The Shah-Dowland Family: Tacoma Family Photographer: Wright Park

The best part about photographing a two year old, is often the session often ends up in their control. This can be a bad thing, it can also be a really good thing. With a little guidance and encouragement, we mostly let Asha lead the way during our session. The results were magical. We were able to capture so much of her personality and the deep love her parents have for her. Not to mention Asha is Louisa’s favorite person in the nursery at church. This is still one of my favorite sessions from last year.

The Quesada Family: Tacoma Family Filmmaker & Photographer

I loved my time with the Quesada Family. Such a wonderful Sunday afternoon capturing them baking/cooking together and playing under the warm sun. If a family film is of interest to you, but the investment makes you nervous. Not only do you get a beautiful FOREVER Family Film to watch down the road, which only gets better with time. You also get a small collection of digital photos, including a family portrait in front of your home.

I will let the film and photos below tell the story of my time with the Quesada Family. Check out more of my family films HERE.

The McCann Family: Tacoma Family Photographer

So many favorites from my session last fall with the McCann family. These girls are two sweet, strong girl, and you can see it comes from their parents, Emily and Chad, who build them up in strength and love. Such a pleasure to watch the McCann Family grow and be able to photograph this phase of life for them.

The Masuda Family: Seattle Family Photographer

The Masuda family has a special place in my heart. When Alyssa had contacted me about doing newborn photos over two years ago I new that I would have just had my own baby. But I thought I was due two weeks before her and I would have had a month to recover until it was time for their photos. But our babies ended up being born a day apart. So, they were so gracious and let me bring my teeny Louisa and my mom (to babysit) to their house with me. So whenever we have connected for photos, it’s fun to see her Sawyer with the same little quirks as my Louisa as they are pretty much the exact same age.

I also can’t help sharing so many photos of Mr. Sawyer in this blog. I loved being able to capture so many facial expressions and personality from him. The joy, the scowl, the look of wonder. So much delight!
