I kicked of the New Year with the Suhr family. We had so much fun. The kids, Jooni and Cayden, were such troopers, as it was freeeeeezzing out that day. Thankfully we did half of the photos outside and half inside. Kelly and Sung wanted to also get some family photos in the traditional Korean dress. This session was such a great way to kickoff 2016.
I love this family. I have known Ashley and Brady since my freshmen year in college. You are never short of laughter when you are around them. This session was just the same. It’s been a joy watching their relationship grow from dating, to engaged, marriage and now parenthood. Ruby is the best combination of sweet and spitfire.
Not only do I love this family. But I loved our session. Ashley and Brady spent their time playing with Ruby. They didn’t worry about the camera, they didn’t remind Ruby to smiled. They were just a family together and that’s what I got to capture. I love it! Thanks for a great morning Ashley, Brady, Barb (Tutu) and Ruby!
Fall family photos mean some really cold sessions. Especially, at Rattlesnake Lake. The Henrichsen family came prepared. They had blankets, a portable heater and we ended with hot chocolate. It was still really cold. I was amazed with how much Jonathan and baby Natalie put up with me and the freezing temperatures. Thanks for enduring the cold Henrichsen family!
I know quite a few families with three boys, the Auvil family is one of them. They had me laughing so hard during this session. The humor is what you expect from three boys. They are such a kind, loving family, it was so easy to laugh along with all of the boy jokes. Thanks Auvil Family!
LaRissa was a good friend from high school that I lost touch with after she moved away our junior year. One of the perks of Facebook is having the chance to reconnect with old friends. I knew we both had baby boys the same year. So, I was so happy to meet up with her and her son Mekhi for their family session. We were able to swap stories about life with four year old boys. They are both kind, joyful people, which is very apparent in these photos.
