I don’t even have words to express how much fun I had doing this session. Annie is such a great girl. She was so kind and mature, but not afraid to be silly. On top of it I got hang with her mom too, who I used to work with and I love her. Thanks Annie for a wonderful session. You are so beautiful on the inside and outside. I’m so excited for the year ahead of you.
This is part two the Rorems Family photos on the beach. After play time on the beach and dinner everyone got cleaned up to take family photos. This summer was the first time I’ve done extended family photos. There is so much to do and capture. So many faces, smaller families, and moments to catch. On top of it the scenery is was something to drool over. I only wish I had had more time.
My sister and brother in-law go down to the Oregon Coast every summer with his family for a week. As a gift to his parents they had me come down for the day to capture some of their time on the beach and also some family photos that evening. I mostly chased the kids around on the beach that afternoon. It doesn’t really feel like work when your with your nieces, nephew and sister on the beach. Here is the first part to my time with the Rorems on Rockaway Beach.
I had so much fun with the Cornwell family on a cloudy Monday morning at Chambers Bay. Cindy had both her daughters and their husbands in town at the same time and she wanted to make sure and grab some family photos. With the exhaustion for pregnancy I was feeling really tired going into this session, but they made me laugh so much, time flew, and I was sad when our session was over. Thanks for a great time Cornwell Family!
It’s so funny how you can be in the same community as someone but not really know them. Seth and Ami go to my church, but I’ve never really gotten to know them since I tend to be on the quieter side or I’m chasing after my wild boys. But the hour I spent with them and their new baby girl Asha was so delightful. They are the kindest couple, Baby Asha is a lucky girl to call them mom and dad. Asha is also a sweet one herself. She was wide-eyed through most of our session. And she had the silliest quirks. She was quickly soothed by Seth when he held her upright moving her up and down. She also had one rogue foot she pumped up and down like she was riding a scooter. I had such a great time, thanks Seth and Ami for inviting me into your home.
