The Cruz Family: Tacoma Family Photographer

I loved working with the Cruz Family! They had me laughing the whole time. I got a taste of what it’s like to have two teenage boys. Hilarious and challenging all at the same time. They were so fun to capture. And it melted my heart to see the sweetness come out of the boys when their mama wrapped her arms around them. Thanks again Cruz Family!

The Rippl Family: Tacoma Family Photographer

I knew the Rippls, pre-kids. We were in the same small group, when they were newlyweds and I was single. Our lives got busy and I got to watch their family grow via social media, along with run-ins at the park. When I do see Rachel conversation comes so easy. She is so honest and real (which  is right up my alley). And we could both share the joys AND challenges of raising two energetic boys. Thanks Rippls!

The Corbett Family: Tacoma Family Photographer

A couple years ago I did photos for the Corbett family. The thing I loved about this session was seeing how somethings were exactly the same, but also seeing the things that have changed. Sophia and Daniel have grown so much and become these little people. Sophia, so mature and in the first grade. And Daniel was a baby and now he’s a walking talking little man. But they were the same quiet, gentle family with one another. They brought their grandmother/mom along (which I think is so cool) and Mr. Daniel still had his Thomas the Train from two years ago. Thanks Corbett Family!

        The Stanton Family

I love the family’s who invite me to photograph their life, their people, their family. But there is an extra place for family’s in my heart who have invited me to photograph the birth of a baby. Little Miss Emilia was the first birth I photographed. It’s an honor to be invited into such an intimate event in a family’s life. And it is such a pleasure to photographer Christy, Jonathan and their little ones. Thanks Stantons!

          Halloween 2017: Tacoma Family Photographer

Halloween always stresses me out. Costumes I need to make but can’t get just right, my kids sugared up, and staying up past bedtime, it doesn’t sound too fun. But once the kids are doing there thing and trick-or-treating I wonder how many years I can make this last. They are so sweet in their imperfect costumes, so joyful, and maybe just a little too sugared up. I’m going to hold tight onto these memories, they are some my favorite.
